This piece was inspired by singer and actress Janelle Monáe. in a world where so many people are glued to their phones and the technology around them sometimes it’s important to remember to touch grass. When I saw her 2026 Met Gala address that is the message that I got from the look. I just knew I had to portray my own version on canvas. This piece is mixed media. I incorporated clay, artificial flowers, wires, and chargers, motherboards, and acrylic paint to name a few things.
